When it comes to who can see your tasks, we try to keep it simple. In our view, either you're involved in a task or you're not. If you're involved in any way, you have full access. If you're not part of the Task or Project, you're excluded from seeing or accessing the information.
This also means that if you've created a Task and haven't shared it with anyone it is completely private - no one can see it.
It really is that straightforward.
The charts here show the two types of Task that exist in Connect Action.
This is a task that you create and haven't assigned to a project.
Connect Action defaults all tasks to the Project called 'Private Project'.

Consider a Project as a team of people that are responsible for a set of tasks.
Everything within the project is accessible to all project members.
The three things to remember are:

| The Project team member can: | Project Member not assigned to a Task | Owner & no Followers | Owner & Followers | Followers Only, No Owner | Invited into a Task but not the Project | The Invitee |
| See every Task | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can only see the Task they were invited into |
| Access every file | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can only access files related to the Task |
